This year’s Moving Words Adult Poetry Competition 2018 theme “Ripped from the Headlines” asked poets to respond to what they see, or don’t see, in today’s headlines. Listen to the six winning poems that were selected from more than 230 poems by this year’s judge Teri Cross Davis. Host for the event is Arlington County Poet Laureate Katherine E. Young who will also be reading her original poem for this year’s Competition.
