Whiskey Before Breakfast Band Live at New District Brewing

Whiskey Before Breakfast Band (WBBB) is a new Irish instrumental group based in Northern Virginia. We chose our name so that it combines the Irish tune “Whiskey Before Breakfast” with the Irish Breakfast Band, a local Alexandria community group that introduced us to Irish music.

Our group tends to keep to traditional Irish music, although we are not afraid to add a song or two or play the occasional Scottish tune. We got our start last fall when our mandolin player was asked to put a group together for a concert in Downtown DC. Since then, we’ve had the pleasure of performing at venues around the DC/NOVA area, and we are excited to share our music with you at New District Brewing.
